GENERAL
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm, so we recommend all guests arrive by 3:00pm.
What is the dress code?
Please wear Formal Garden Party attire, keeping in mind the warm weather. Comfortable footwear is recommended, as the venue features plenty of grass and pebbled areas. Ladies, consider wearing wedges, block heels, or flats.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to venue restrictions, we can only accommodate those named on the invitation.
When should I RSVP by?
To help us with planning, please RSVP as soon as you can.
The final deadline to RSVP is 28th September 2026, as we need to confirm numbers with our venue. We won’t be able to accommodate late responses after this date.
What should I do if I can’t attend?
If you cannot join us, please let us know by RSVP’ing "No" on our website as soon as possible. This will help us plan accordingly. While we’ll miss celebrating with you, we appreciate your letting us know!
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, our entire day will take place on one property and is fully accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs or requirements, please let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure you're comfortable and looked after.
Will there be a gift registry?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, a wishing well will be available at the reception if you wish to contribute.
CEREMONY & RECEPTION
Where is the ceremony and reception being held?
Our ceremony and reception will take place at the beautiful Terrara House, so you can relax and enjoy the day without travelling between locations.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony. Please keep phones and cameras away so everyone can be fully present in the moment.
We have a professional photographer capturing it all, and we promise to share the photos with you. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away!
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, join us for a relaxed cocktail hour in the picturesque Chess Garden. Following that, our reception will be held at Chesters, where we’ll celebrate with great food, music, and dancing!
How long will the celebration last?
Due to local council restrictions, our celebration will conclude at 11:00pm. We encourage you to make the most of the evening and enjoy every moment with us!
Is the ceremony or reception indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held outdoors on the grand lawn, with shade and seating provided. In the case of wet weather, we have arranged a covered alternative to ensure everyone stays comfortable.
The reception will be held indoors at Chesters, complemented by an outdoor undercover area perfect for all weather scenarios.
FOOD & DRINK
Will there be a meal provided?
Yes, we will serve light refreshments during cocktail hour and a family style dinner during the reception. Don’t worry, there will also be plenty of dessert options to satisfy your sweet tooth!
How do I let you know about dietary restrictions?
When you RSVP, please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies. Please include the person's name and specific dietary needs in the section provided. We’ll make sure everyone is accommodated!
Will alcohol be served?
Open bar - duh!
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
Will there be transportation provided?
We are not providing transport, as guests may be staying in different areas on the South Coast. However, getting to and from the venue is straightforward.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes, on-site parking is available at the venue. However, spaces are limited, so we recommend carpooling or using ride-sharing services to make it easier for everyone.
